Our Heat Logs are easy to light, burn with a long flame and give good heat output. They are perfect for use on a variety of appliances including open fires, log burners and multi-fuel stoves. They are able to be used by themselves or you’ll then again mix them with other solid fuels like firewood and coal. They retain their shape all through burning and don’t expand. They’re also safer to burn with no expansion or cracking. No contaminated wood or binders are used in our Oak Heat Logs – only clean recycled waste hardwood from Sawmill. They are able to be thought to be as a carbon neutral fuel, as the wood they’re made from would another way have been sent to a landfill site, where it would eventually be broken down into methane gas which is 4 times more harmful to the environment than Carbon Dioxide.
